scope

Brand Identity Design

Designing for the Canadian Quilters' Association is especially meaningful to me, as it bridges my professional skills with a personal legacy. I come from a long line of quilters and have a deep appreciation for the craft not only as an art form, but as a tradition rooted in community, care, and storytelling. Contributing to the Association’s visual identity allows me to honour that heritage while creating design work that resonates with fellow quilt lovers across Canada.

Submark

The visual identity for the Canadian Quilters’ Association balances heritage craft with a modern, recognizable system. Inspired by traditional quilt blocks, the geometric leaf mark reflects both the artistry of quilting and a distinctly Canadian perspective. A warm palette of gold, orange, and red evokes fabric, autumn landscapes, and handmade warmth, while neutral tones provide balance and clarity. The flexible logo suite ensures the identity works across print, digital, and community applications while maintaining strong recognition across the Association.
