Hello there,
I'm Julia.
I’m a mama, a designer, and a creature of cozy rituals—starting every project with a mug of herbal tea and usually baking something instead of tackling my inbox.
I spent my early career as Lead Web Designer for a U.S.-based marketing agency, but after graduating from OCAD University and returning to my hometown, Julabrand slowly grew from a side hustle into the studio I now run full-time.
These days, you’ll find me raising two kids, rewatching Gilmore Girls for the eighth time because it’s fall vibes, listening to romance audiobooks while hand-lettering, and occasionally convincing myself that trash TV counts as design research (it does). I’m either outdoors with my kids instead of inside with my deadlines, planning spontaneous creative detours that weren’t in the plan but feel right, or looking at Airbnbs in Italy like I’m booking them tomorrow.
Julabrand is the home for all of that energy—intuition-led design, grounded storytelling, and the belief that creativity happens best when life is a little messy, warm, and real.
